The easiest way to maintain your door is by giving us a call. We’ll come out to lubricate and adjust your door at a low cost. But for now we’ll show you how you can maintain your door in order for it to last for the years to come.

Step 1

Lubricate the torsion springs and rollers once every 6-12 months. Spray the face of the spring and the bearing portion of the roller with a garage door lubricant or similar spray oil. There is no need to spray oil into the track where the roller sits since this will eventually cause squeaking.

Step 2

Check to make sure that the fasteners on the hinges are tight. This is especially important on wood doors since the wood shrinks over time.

Most importantly, never try to make adjustments to your door without first contacting a professional technician since this can be very dangerous.
